Managed build VMs now come without Nix and run steps as a user with passwordless sudo, so each job installs Determinate Nix and adds our cache to the daemon's config first. Hyperspool build VMs no longer come with Nix, and steps run as
runnerwith passwordless sudo (hyperspool ADR 0170). Each job now installs Determinate Nix first and puts nixcache.9000.dev into the daemon config. A no-op on machines that already have Nix, apart from adding the cache config once.🤖 Generated with Claude Code
