Summary

The changelog linked every (#N) to /issues/N, the default of conventional-changelog-writer and the angular preset. In this repository the number in a subject is always a pull request (GitHub adds it on squash), so the links only worked through GitHub's redirect to /pull/N.

Notable changes

  • packages/cli/src/release/changelog.ts: set issue: 'pull' in the changelog context, so new entries link to /pull/N.
  • CHANGELOG.md: rewrite the 1282 existing /issues/N links to /pull/N for consistency.

Review focus

  • Duplicate detection is unaffected: getChangeKey strips pull request references before comparing.
  • Checked by running buildChangelogStream against the real history with an empty changelog: new links, including the BREAKING CHANGES section, point to /pull/N. The CLI unit tests pass.
