[Bug]: Pressing CMD+Z deletes contents of a snippet, even if no changes have been made since opening massCode #808

Description

@BryanWall

Describe the bug

When pressing CMD+Z (on Macos) with the cursor in the snippet pane, the contents of the snippet are deleted. Choosing Undo from the Edit menu does not trigger this behavior.

Even more strange, if after the content is deleted, if you switch to another snippet and then switch back to the blank snippet, then press CMD+Z again, the content comes back. This only works if you switch to another snippet and then back to the empty one with the content deleted.

To reproduce

  1. Open massCode, or if it is already open - close and reopen it
  2. Choose a snippet and click in the snippet pane on the right so the cursor is in the snippet pane
  3. Press CMD+Z on the keyboard
  4. The contents of the snippet is deleted
