F5 showing Debug Stopped #25525

Behaviour
Not able to debug code. Trying to run launch.json, just shows popup saying Debug Stopped.
Steps to reproduce:
1.Just press F5 with any launch.json file.

There is no diagnostic data available, there is no output.
Output for Python in the Output panel (View→Output, change the drop-down the upper-right of the Output panel to Python)
