Run button missing until leaving and coming back to script #25621
Description
Couldn't find this issue anywhere in this repo, so I created it. If it's a dupe, please tell me...
Testing with extensions disabled did not solve the problem.
And Bissect did not help any further than telling me the issue may be coming from Code.
- VS Code Version: 1.104.2
- OS Version: Windows 11 24H2
Steps to Reproduce:
- Don't close the file, just directly close Code
- Open Code again
You should notice the Run button is missing - Open another file or start a draft
- Go back to the script
You should notice the Run button came back
This is kinda annoying. Can this get fixed, please ?
About the recently added new release tag : I think this problem might be older than that, but don't know since which version...

Good news, I've just upgraded to 1.104.3 and now I only need to wait arround 1 second to get the run button after opening Code ! Closing as completed... ( feel free to reopen if needed )

Um nevermind. After further testing, it appears that this bug happens especially for big scripts. The script I've tested when closing this issue was a simple and short one. Maybe because the initial code analysis is taking too much time ? But it should still be able to show the run button again once all the script have been checked, even if it took more than 10 seconds.
