Walkthrough

This change adds a registry-based panel-item renderer flow, built-in renderers for enumeration icons, HTML, and Markdown, and an example custom enumeration renderer. It also adds configurable case-panel icon visibility and data-field component fallback resolution.

Changes

Data-field Component Fallback

Layer / File(s) Summary
Typed component resolution
projects/netgrif-components-core/src/lib/data-fields/models/abstract-data-field.ts, projects/netgrif-components-core/src/lib/data-fields/data-field-template/*
Data fields derive a typed default component name. Portal selection prefers a registered typed component and falls back to the registered typed default. Tests cover fallback and precedence.

Case-Panel Icon Configuration

Layer / File(s) Summary
Configuration contract and defaults
projects/netgrif-components-core/src/lib/panel/case-panel/*, projects/netgrif-components-core/src/lib/view/case-view/components/default-case-list/*, projects/netgrif-components-core/src/lib/panel/public-api.ts
A root-provided configuration enables the case-panel icon by default. Case panels and default case lists initialize their icon setting from this configuration.
Icon visibility and application configuration
projects/netgrif-components/src/lib/panel/case-panel/*, projects/nae-example-app/src/app/doc/tabbed-case-view/*
The case-panel template shows the leading icon only when configured and when the field is first. The example app supplies the setting, and tests cover configuration and visibility.

Registered Panel-Item Renderers

Layer / File(s) Summary
Featured-value renderer data
projects/netgrif-components-core/src/lib/panel/abstract/*, projects/netgrif-components-core/src/lib/panel/panel-item/panel-item-portal-data-injection-token.ts
Featured values can carry raw values and component metadata. Immediate-value parsing attaches those fields, and the portal data contract includes featured-value and text-ellipsis data.
Renderer registry
projects/netgrif-components-core/src/lib/panel/panel-item/panel-item-component-registry.service.ts, projects/netgrif-components-core/src/lib/panel/panel-item/panel-item-component-registry.service.spec.ts, projects/netgrif-components-core/src/lib/panel/public-api.ts
The registry stores named and default renderer factories by field type. It supports conditional registration and portal lookup.
Panel-item portal selection
projects/netgrif-components-core/src/lib/panel/panel-item/abstract-panel-item.component.*, projects/netgrif-components/src/lib/panel/panel-item/panel-item.component.*, projects/netgrif-components/src/lib/panel/panel-item/panel-item-renderer.scss
Panel items create and render registered portals when available. The existing type-based renderer remains as a fallback. Tests cover renderer selection and fallback behavior.
Built-in renderers and module registration
projects/netgrif-components/src/lib/panel/panel-item/{enumeration-icon-panel-item,html-panel-item,markdown-panel-item}/*, projects/netgrif-components/src/lib/panel/panel-item/panel-item-link-click.ts, projects/netgrif-components/src/lib/panel/panel.module.*
The module registers enumeration-icon, HTML, and Markdown renderers when mappings are absent. HTML and Markdown links receive secure attributes, and link clicks stop propagation.
Enumeration renderer example
projects/nae-example-app/src/app/app.module.ts, projects/nae-example-app/src/app/doc/panels/*
The example app registers a custom enumeration renderer for two field types. Its sample case displays colored enumeration values and icon mappings.

Example field component.name does not match the registered key.

The app registers the renderer under the name "totok" at Lines 303-306. The example data in panels.component.ts uses component.name values 'value' and 'icon'. No 'value' renderer is registered for enumeration. That field falls back to the default renderer, and the custom EnumerationValuePanelItemComponent never renders in the example. Align the registered name with the example data, or change the example data to 'totok'. Also use single quotes to match the surrounding code, and remove the extra blank line.

Normalize empty component names before deriving the fallback key.

Component.name accepts '', and FieldConverterService forwards the resource component unchanged to EnumerationField. An empty name produces enumeration-. The current zero-length suffix removal then returns default instead of enumeration-default.

Treat an empty component name as the default component before deriving the typed fallback key.

🩺 Stability & Availability | 🔵 Trivial | 💤 Low value

Guard ngOnChanges against a missing featuredValue.

resolveComponentPortal uses this.featuredValue?.component?.name at Line 29. Line 38 and Line 41 then read this.featuredValue.type without a guard. If featuredValue is undefined when inputs change, ngOnChanges throws a TypeError. The template at panel-item.component.html also reads featuredValue.type unguarded, so this may be unreachable in practice. The optional chain on Line 29 shows the code expects a missing value. Return undefined early to make the contract consistent.
