Device dump for the SMS (Brazil) Premium 1500 VA, model PRM1500BiBiW,
a line-interactive UPS with a built-in Prolific USB-serial adapter,
driven by sms_ser. This unit has an extended external battery bank,
which the header notes where run times are quoted.

The dump is from NUT 2.8.1 (Debian 13) with the sms_ser changes of
networkupstools/nut#3701 backported (driver.version.internal
1.00+premium6); the header explains what the stock 2.8.1 driver shows
instead. Prepared by hand from upsc, upsrw and upscmd output,
following the DDL mark-up; each command is annotated with what was
verified on the hardware.

  • PR named with vendor and device
  • File name follows <manufacturer>__<model>__<driver>__<nut-version>__<report>.dev
  • Placed in the SMS/ directory (new; data/driver.list.in calls the vendor "SMS (Brazil)", parentheses are not allowed in names)
  • Prepared with nut-ddl-dump.sh: no, assembled by hand from the same commands in the same layout
  • upsc fields un-commented
  • RW variables and instant commands as #RW: / #CMD: comments

Developed with Claude Code (model Claude Fable 5.1); the author ran the
hardware tests and reviewed the content.

…#3701
