Moving files automatically via script causing sync conflicts #17074

Closed

Description

@alperozturk96

I have been using v33.1.0 and I still get upload conflicts.

Only now it says I should "Tap to check", then the app displays "Conflict resolved" for a split second and then the file is not found. I also have like a dozen of files sitting in the upload queue "Waiting to upload" for days. Newly created files don't even show up in the queue.

I don't know if this is realted to the issue, because it would be wild. But I use a script to move files out of my Nextcloud automatically which also removes the $year/$month directories. I assume(d) that the Nextcloud app simply recreates these directories. I don't know how and why but could this cause the conflicts?

Here is yet another log:

    @dataprolet

    Still an issue in 34.0.1.
    Manually creating the directory $autoupload/2026/07 fixes the issue and the file gets uploaded.

    @dataprolet Hey,

    Thanks for reporting this issue, and thank you for your patience while we work through the backlog.

    I was able to reproduce the issue and able to verify via tests and I created a PR.

    Could you please also test via latest QA APK and share your feedback?
