SessionSense is an Android app that shows the usage limits of AI coding tools: the 5-hour and weekly limits of Claude plans (which Claude Code shares), and Codex limits on ChatGPT plans. It has alerts, history and home-screen widgets. MIT, written in Kotlin/Compose. No ads, no trackers, no analytics, and no server of its own.
Criteria check: FOSS license (MIT), source available, no advertisement or spyware, stable releases (1.1.0, self-updating from GitHub Releases), actively developed, documentation in the README and a website, free of charge. All dependencies are FOSS (AndroidX, OkHttp, MaterialKolor, Haze). It reads usage from claude.ai / chatgpt.com, so it needs an account with those (non-free) services, the same as other clients for proprietary services on this list.
