Crestron Home driver updates currently require checking individual catalogue entries. This adds a Windows desktop checklist and console commands to inspect installed drivers and apply a reviewed selection through the DevTools library.
The desktop app shows affected devices and rooms, installed and available versions, update eligibility, restart needs and per-driver progress/results. Select-all includes only confirmed eligible updates. Confirmation identifies the processor and affected instances, with a separate acknowledgement for required processor restarts. Saved DevTools profiles provide credentials and verified trust; the application opens no console processes.
Both interfaces revalidate the reviewed selection, respect the shared processor reservation, journal operations, verify updated instances and stop on the first failed or uncertain result. Verified results survive later cleanup errors. Model-specific catalogue queries avoid the observed broad-query response limit. Documentation covers building and using both interfaces and inspecting interrupted runs.
Validation: Release builds and desktop publish passed. All 35 driver-update manager tests and 8 Windows checklist/confirmation/result tests passed, including restart progress and interrupted cleanup. The desktop layout was rendered and inspected using an invisible test window. Earlier validation passed 177 affected offline tests; subsequent catalogue fixes passed 117 affected tests and a live read-only scan verified current and restart-required update reporting. No actual driver updates or processor restarts were performed; behavior across driver families still needs live validation. No package version or published release changes.
