Deferring. This @babel/* v8 package requires @babel/core ^8 (ERESOLVE; the repo is on @babel/core 7.29.6) and raises engines.node to ^22.18.0 || >=24.11.0 (dropping Node 20). It can only land as part of a coordinated Babel 7→8 toolchain migration (@babel/core, cli, preset-env, plugins together) that also bumps the Node floor — out of scope for a single-dependency Dependabot bump.

Cannot merge: @babel/cli@8.0.4 requires Node ^22.18.0 || >=24.11.0 but the CI matrix runs Node 20.19.5 and engines.node specifies 20 || 22 || 24.

Babel runs on every matrix job, so the Node 20 job cannot satisfy this requirement. Bumping only the CI Node version would leave the declared minimum untested, so this is deferred until engines.node drops Node 20 independently.

Part of the co-dependent Babel 8 group — see #267.

Converting to draft so this is skipped in automated dependency runs.
