cannot replace preventedEvents.onClick for a disabled custom link. Compose the
caller’s onClick with the tab handler, and ensure the caller handler does not
run when isDisabled is true.
Review comments at @packages/react-core/src/components/Tabs/TabButton.tsx:
- Line 32: Update TabButton’s type handling so custom components that render
buttons receive type="button" by default, preventing form submission; do not add
this prop to custom links. If the component type cannot be distinguished,
require callers to provide the button type and document that requirement.

Looks good to me! I had a couple of comments, but I don't care if we address them.

According to this, ElementType should contain ComponentType, but I am also fine with this as-is. https://github.com/DefinitelyTyped/DefinitelyTyped/blob/master/types/react/index.d.ts#L109

I don't think we ever reach the default now since Tab sets a component. I'm totally ok with leaving this if we think people use TabButton separately. It looks exported.
What: Closes #12676
Adds a
componentprop toTab, following Button’s custom-component pattern, so navigation tabs can render router links.Additional issues: PF-4726
