Works around RConsortium/S7#725: R CMD check can't find S7 methods, so documenting a method with extra arguments caused codoc mismatches against the generic.
\special{}usage is displayed normally but skipped bycodoc(). Verified with R CMD check on a test package based on the issue's reprex (1 warning before, 0 after). The tradeoff is that method usage is no longer checked at all; a proper fix needs something like
\S7method{}{}support in R.
