📝 Why & how
Adds react-native-magic-tab-bar — an animated floating bottom tab bar that works
with both Expo Router and React Navigation (bare React Native CLI) from a
single component, so the bar doesn't need rewriting when switching navigators.
iOS + Android, New Architecture (Fabric), TypeScript types bundled, MIT.
No native code of its own — the core is pure JS, so it works in Expo Go.
Optional features (
glass, haptics) degrade gracefully whenexpo-glass-effect/expo-hapticsaren't installed.Entry added at the end of the file, per the contributing guide. Runnable examples
are included for both setups:
example/(Expo Router) andexample-cli/(bare RN CLI).✅ Checklist
