Support auto-registration of service via Spring Boot #643

Description

@rvervaek

I noticed there is no auto-configuration present that would automatically register a Java Spring Boot app as a restate service in a restate server. In line with Spring Boot's 'convention over configuration philosophy' it would be convenient if if the sdk-spring-boot-starter library would include this functionality.

I have got some experience with writing Spring Boot auto-configuration libraries. However, I'm new to Restate and have probably not enough knowledge on how to implement this feature properly. I would be happy to contribute and give it a go if I had some 'technical requirements' to achieve this.

    I think such functionality doesnt fit restate push model, and has couple of non trivial problems (e.g. to register you need to know how to reach yourself).

    We're working on a different approach of connection though for cloud, called tunnel client, where the service connects and establishes a permanent connection with the server when it starts. That will be surely integrated with our spring boot module.

    Closed as not compatible with Restate push model. Additionally other approaches have already been identified.
