tests/configuration.schema.json, tests/.gersemirc.example and tests/executable/extensions/example are symlinks pointing outside tests/ (to gersemi/configuration.schema.json, .gersemirc.example and extension-example). With only tests/ in CIBW_TEST_SOURCES they dangle in the test cwd, failing test_configuration.py and erroring every test that copies tests/executable. Add the symlink targets to CIBW_TEST_SOURCES.
The cibuildwheel test phase runs as root, so chmod 0444 on the cache does not stop gersemi from writing it and test_when_cache_cant_be_modified_it_is_ignored fails on every interpreter. It passes once CAP_DAC_OVERRIDE is dropped.
