Ports parcel-bundler/lightningcss#1338. Preserves both original upstream commits with their original SHAs and authors, then adds a merge commit integrating rstackjs
master(5aec9d4).Choose the shorter quote style for minified URLs before comparing the quoted and unquoted forms. Reuse cssparser escaping for backslashes and control characters; retain existing behavior for ties, formatted output, and dependency placeholders.
For example, an SVG data URL containing
<svg width="1" height="1"></svg>can use a single-quoted URL rather than double quotes that require backslashes before each attribute quote. This reduces the serialized URL length without changing its value.Validation on the resulting tree:
