On desktop, a long --title overflowed the brand column and ran under the search field. Clip it to its column with an ellipsis, as the mobile header already did. On desktop, a long
--titleno longer runs under the search field. It now ends with an ellipsis at the edge of the sidebar column. Before, the brand link had
white-space: nowrapwith no width limit. Ruby's docs title "Documentation for Ruby development version" spilled out of its grid column, and the search box covered it mid word at every width from 1024 px up. The mobile header already clipped the title with an ellipsis. This moves those rules to the base.navbar-brandrule and limits it to its column.Generated by Claude Code
