What

  • Convex.HubClient registers a deployment as a client of the team's hub. It finds the base by name and runs identityBroker:registerClient with a short-lived key. The stack needs no token and no hub address.
  • alchemy-convex hub-client does the same for a development deployment, which no stack deploys.
  • The resource keeps the type IdentityHub.Client, so a client from the old resource stays, and a deploy with the same redirect URI does not reach the hub.

Needs

A hub with @samebase/identity-broker 0.7.0 (PR).

The resource finds the base of the team by name and runs the admin functions
of the hub with a short-lived key, so a stack needs no registration token and
no hub address. The hub answers with its issuer. It replaces IdentityHub.Client
of @samebase/alchemy-identity-hub, and keeps its resource type, so a client
that the old resource registered stays and a deploy does not reach the hub.

The command alchemy-convex hub-client does the same for a development
deployment, which no stack deploys.
