The state store has its own project, alchemy-state-store (0.16.0) - #32

Conversation
The project takes the exact name of the Cloudflare state store of Alchemy. The store and the hub have opposite owners and fail together in one deployment, and a team's token reaches both projects, so sharing one bought nothing that lasts. This reverts the exports of the store's functions, the seed and base rule, state:host, and OutdatedBase. The hub stays in the project samebase, which Convex.HubClient now names as HUB_PROJECT_NAME. The store version stays 4. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

What
Convex.state()finds or creates the projectalchemy-state-store, the exact name of Alchemy's Cloudflare state store.Convex.HubClientfinds the hub in the projectsamebase, named asHUB_PROJECT_NAME.state:host,OutdatedBase, and the exports./state/*. The package is 323 lines smaller. Why
The store and the hub have opposite owners: the package pushes the store, and a team forks and edits the hub. In one deployment, a broken hub deploy stops the state reads of every stack, and every store change must reach the hub first. The team token reaches both projects, so the single-credential result of phase 3 stays.
Rollout
Every repository moves together, after the rows are copied into the new project. The hub keeps its project name, because an older package that finds no
samebaseproject would create an empty store.🤖 Generated with Claude Code
