   I renamed this issue to concentrate on "support for tab-based indentation", which google-java-format has to add the CLI flag for (see me above PR)
   Configurable line length was merged in #315

   • Support using tabs for indentation (--use-tabs flag) google/google-java-format#1470 (vote if you want to have that feature in google-java-formatter)
