fix(deps): cap temporalio below 1.35 - #556
Merged
Merged
Conversation
temporalio 1.35 moves the OpenAI Agents integration into the temporalio-openai-agents package, which needs openai-agents 0.20 or later. The SDK imports temporalio.contrib.openai_agents unconditionally, so Temporal workers crash at startup on 1.35. Cap the SDK, the OpenAI Agents init template, and the affected tutorials at <1.35, as in the staging repo. The resolved version stays at 1.27.2. uv also syncs the stale editable versions ofagentex-clientandagentex-sdkto 0.28.4.Why
temporalio 1.35 moves the OpenAI Agents integration into the
temporalio-openai-agentspackage, which needsopenai-agents0.20 or later. The SDK importstemporalio.contrib.openai_agentsunconditionally, so each Temporal worker crashes at startup on 1.35. The cap is the short-term fix until the SDK moves toopenai-agents0.20.The same change is in the staging repo: scaleapi/scale-agentex-python-staging#37.
