fix: prod mirror picker speed, required secrets and user names - #393
Picker speed. Bring from prod took about 2 minutes to open. About 90 s of that was `/api/adapters/catalog`, which starts every published adapter to read its startup properties. The mirror never uses those properties.
`/api/adapters/catalog` takes `startupValues=false` to list adapters without starting them. Without it, nothing changes. Older releases ignore it.
The mirror asks with it, and remembers prod's adapter list for 10 minutes. Staging's list is read every time, because a bring installs adapters.
Required secrets. A subscription whose adapter requires a secret (e.g. an FTP Password) couldn't be brought: "Missing: Password". The copy leaves secrets empty. The bring now saves such a secret as `set-me` so the subscription is created. Bitween hides a saved secret, so its to-do stays open, blocking tests, until someone clicks Filled in (`POST /api/mirror/filledin`).
User names. Adapter settings, partner properties and global values named like a user name or client id (`Username`, `SftpUser`, `ClientId`) came over with prod's real value. They now get `set-me` and a to-do, like a connection's login.

📝 Summary
Summary
Adapter catalog requests can set startupValues=false to skip startup-property descriptions. The mirror caches production adapter listings for 10 minutes and reads staging’s list on each request.
When a new subscription requires a secret that staging reports as missing, the mirror saves set-me and tracks it. Users with mirror-operation permission can mark the secret Filled in to close its to-do.
The mirror replaces login-like values, including Username, SftpUser, and ClientId, with set-me instead of copying production values to staging.
Risk
risk:medium
Security-sensitive areas
The change handles production login values and adapter secrets. It adds persistent stand-in tracking and a permission-gated endpoint to close fill-in items.
Test coverage impact
New unit and integration tests cover catalog requests without startup values, secret placeholder handling, fill-in tracking, and login-value handling. Execution results were not provided. Review finding counts are unavailable.
Operational concerns
No migration or deployment steps are specified. Required secrets remain placeholders until a user marks them Filled in. The production adapter-list cache may serve entries up to 10 minutes old. Older releases ignore the startupValues parameter.
The change updates adapter catalog requests and prod listing caching. It adds login-field classification and tracks required-secret placeholders in the mirror workflow. A new API and web control let mirror operators mark those placeholders as filled in.
Catalog requests can disable startup-value descriptions while returning adapter metadata. Prod adapter listings use a ten-minute cache; staging listings are read for each comparison.
Mirror setup classifies matching login-key values as logins and excludes them from offered values to keep. Tests cover login-key examples.

Created subscriptions receive placeholders for qualifying required secrets. The service tracks those placeholders, uses the tracking data during staging comparisons, and keeps them open until they are marked filled in.
Filled-in action across API and UI SW.Bitween.Api/Services/Mirror/MirrorService.Bring.cs, SW.Bitween.Api/Resources/Mirror/Mirror.cs, SW.Bitween.Web/ClientApp/src/api/client.ts, SW.Bitween.Web/ClientApp/src/api/http/mirror.ts, SW.Bitween.Web/ClientApp/src/api/types.ts, SW.Bitween.Web/ClientApp/src/pages/mirror/shared.tsx, docs/api-reference.md
The API removes matching stand-in IDs and returns the count closed. The web interface displays a filled-in control for eligible rows and refreshes mirror queries after success.
The new required-secret placeholder flow has three gaps. Bringing a subscription whose adapter is installed in the same run can still fail on its blank required secret. Concurrent bring and "Filled in" actions can lose or incorrectly keep placeholder to-dos. Slash-containing subscription names can have their to-dos closed by another item's fill-in. These are limited to the staging mirror workflow but should be fixed before merge.
