• 13 brand logos in icons.tsx (11 competitors used on comparison pages, plus LiteLLM and Dust) are raster images inlined as base64. A comparison page renders the same logo up to 16 times, and each copy is serialized twice (HTML plus RSC payload). Some carried several KB of Photoshop XMP padding.
• Re-encoded each one with sharp: metadata stripped, PNGs palette-quantized, JPEGs re-encoded with mozjpeg, and rasters over 128px downscaled to 128px. Tiles render at 32–36px, so 128px stays sharp at 3x. Total base64 drops from 95 KB to 29 KB. The markup, the viewBox, and the <image> width and height are unchanged. Only the href data changes.
• Four logos were JPEG bytes labelled data:image/png. They're now labelled image/jpeg.
• Kept them as data URIs on purpose. apps/docs renders a byte-identical copy of icons.tsx (synced by generate-docs), so a /public path would break on the docs origin. The docs copy is updated to match.
• Estimated compressed size (current live HTML with the new strings swapped in): /comparisons/n8n 313 → 209 KB, /comparisons 179 → 93 KB, /library/best-zapier-alternatives 132 → 104 KB.
