Match woad's off-Windows dynamic API: environment colour policy, stream-conditional sequences, and the packed version word. - Read `WOAD_COLOUR` / `WOAD_COLOR`, `NO_COLOR`, `CLICOLOR_FORCE`, and `CLICOLOR` once, until `refresh()`; - Gate sequences on `IsTerminal`, with Unix `AsFd` equivalents of the descriptor functions; - Report version 0.1.0-alpha1, packed as **woad** `WOAD_VER` with relstatus `0x41`; - Leave Windows console-mode and handle currencies for a later alpha;
