Home Assistant 2026.11 built HACS into Home Assistant as the Marketplace (Settings → Marketplace). This updates the wording users see:

  • README: the store badge now reads Marketplace – Default and opens Chartdeck in the Marketplace. The install steps say Settings → Marketplace → Install, and the My Home Assistant button uses the new marketplace_repository redirect (the old hacs_repository link still forwards there). A short note covers installs older than 2026.11, which still use HACS. The validation badge alt text says Marketplace validation.
  • Bug report template: the install-method option is now Home Assistant Marketplace (or HACS).
  • Release announcement: the update line says Marketplace. The pre-release line now describes the Marketplace's Pre-release switch (Settings → Devices & services → Marketplace) and keeps the HACS steps for older installs.
  • CONTRIBUTING: the note on why dist/ is committed says the Marketplace (HACS).

Unchanged on purpose: hacs.json, the hacs.yml workflow and hacs/action. The Marketplace still reads hacs.json, and the catalog is still hacs/default.

The wiki Installation page got the same change separately.

Test fix

test/box-plot.test.ts › shows the picked box in a tooltip failed on this PR and fails on main too: it depends on the time of day. The fixture is relative to Date.now() and the test groups by day, so before about 09:00 or after about 20:00 midnight falls inside the readings and the first box found includes the 40 spike as an outlier. The test file now fakes only Date and pins it to 15:00 local time. It passes in UTC, Europe/London, America/Los_Angeles and Pacific/Auckland. No card code changed.

Home Assistant 2026.11 built HACS in as the Marketplace. The README badge,
install steps and My Home Assistant link, the bug-report install option,
the release announcement's upgrade text and CONTRIBUTING now say
Marketplace, with a note for installs older than 2026.11. hacs.json and
the hacs/action validation keep their names because the Marketplace still
uses them.
