Updated Flowery.NET from 2.2.0 to 3.7.0.

Release notes

3.7.0

📋 What's Changed

Added

  • Four controls ported from Flowery.WinUI, with the same properties and events (#57):
    • DaisyCalendarDatePicker: a CalendarDatePicker styled like DaisyInput (variants, sizes, BorderRingBrush), with the Daisy calendar icon and a Date/DateChanged API alongside SelectedDate. The popup calendar uses Daisy colors, follows Size and highlights today.
    • DaisyBreadcrumbBar: a breadcrumb trail from ItemsSource with chevrons, the last item as the current location, and an ItemClicked event. Leading items collapse into an ellipsis menu when the bar is too narrow.
    • DaisyResizableColumnsHost: an ItemsControl whose columns share one ColumnWidth. A grip appears between columns on hover and resizes all of them; the keyboard works too. MinColumnWidth/MaxColumnWidth limit the width.
    • DaisyTooltip: wraps content and shows Tip in a Daisy tooltip with Variant, Placement and IsOpen.
  • Gallery: sections and sidebar entries for the four controls (Data Input, Navigation, Layout, Feedback), searchable by class name, with sidebar names in all 12 languages.
  • Localization: BreadcrumbBar_More (the ellipsis button's name) in all 12 languages.

📋 What's Changed

Changed

  • SidebarItem has an optional ControlName, and the FloweryComponentSidebar search matches it in addition to the translated name, ignoring case, spaces and punctuation (#55). In the German Gallery, "Tag-Auswahl", "DaisyTagPicker", "TagPicker" and "tag picker" all find the tag picker.
  • Gallery demo section headers show the translated sidebar name followed by the control class, e.g. Tag-Auswahl (DaisyTagPicker), and update when the language changes (#55).

Fixed

  • DaisyColorPickerDialog and DaisyScreenColorPicker are localized (#53). The dialog title, labels, OK/Cancel and the Undo/Redo tooltips and automation names, and the screen picker hint were hard-coded in English; they now use new ColorPicker_*, Common_Ok and Common_Cancel keys in all 12 languages. The screen picker redraws its hint when the language changes.
  • DaisyTagPicker available tags are readable on dark themes again. They used the Neutral outline button, whose text and border nearly match the dark background; they now use the Default outline (base content text and border).

📋 What's Changed

Fixed

  • OTP paste normalizes separators before applying the code length. Delayed paste cannot change slot text or the value after removal, slot replacement, or reattachment.
  • Numeric paste filters and replaces the selection once. Pending clipboard reads cannot modify a detached, read-only, or replaced editor. Unlimited decimal digits are preserved; input exceeding a length limit is rejected without truncating the number.
  • Refreshing Kanban assignee options preserves the selected filter and its criteria.
  • Clearing the weather service or location cancels the current load. Detached cards do not publish old results or request forecast and metrics data afterward.
  • Per-character WaveText preserves text changes made during animation when stopped or reattached.
  • Glass backdrop capture includes only content behind the glass, respects paint order and ZIndex, and renders directly into the required capture area. Large parent containers no longer require a full-size intermediate bitmap. Skia redraws changed tint, corner radius, and lighting.
  • Glass backdrop capture preserves shadows from borders and content presenters whose layout bounds lie outside the capture area.
  • Glass backdrop clipping preserves template content at the corners and applies rounded clips only to borders that request them.
  • Glass backdrops retain their original position and size on screen. Reduced capture resolution and blur padding no longer shrink or shift the background, including near container edges.
  • Scaling releases trackers when an embedded, non-window top-level is disposed.
  • Theme dropdown selection and hover labels use a contrasting foreground derived from the active background.
  • Scheduler views now resize existing appointment controls and preserve their scroll position without rebuilding the view.
  • Day and Week appointments reserve enough width for overlapping time ranges and show optional details only when complete rows fit. Duplicate status indicators are removed.
  • Scheduler tooltips use theme surface colors, a visible border, and design-token padding.
  • The Calendar month navigator highlights days with appointments, including daily and continuous spans, and respects the resource-kind filter.
  • Scheduler settings use compact row spacing, share the tooltip surface colors, and reserve space for the vertical scrollbar.
  • The Gallery Scheduler demo fits shorter windows without covering its options or help text.
  • Scheduler multi-selection moves use the selected visible resource columns, preserve other resource assignments, and retain column selection after host data refreshes.
  • Scheduler move and resize requests reject invalid daily time windows, including midnight crossings. Group edits are rejected together if any selected appointment would become invalid.
  • Scheduler clicks, drags, and external drops reject nonexistent local times during daylight-saving changes without throwing or publishing changes.
  • Hiding idle Scheduler resources uses the displayed time basis: stored times in Day and Week, and resource-local times in Planner and Timeline.

📋 What's Changed

Added

  • Added DaisyScheduler, adapted from the MIT-licensed Xtreme.Components scheduler, with Day, Week, Month, Agenda, resource Planner, and horizontal Timeline day views.
  • The scheduler uses Flowery themes, design tokens, all five size tiers, and all twelve supported languages. It supports selection, move, resize, creation, deletion, tooltips, decorations, templates, and external drops through host events.
  • Added a Scheduler Gallery page with sample appointments, resource grouping, an appointment editor, a context menu, and read-only mode.
  • Added resource kinds, occupancy queries, and named, collapsible Timeline groups with host-defined criteria such as departments.
  • Added configurable week rules, editor time intervals, regional date/time conventions, and 12/24-hour clocks, with format selectors above the Gallery demo.
  • Added continuous and daily appointment spans, separate appointment rows, overlap confirmation, and an optional editor color palette.
  • Included the upstream copyright and MIT license in the library output and NuGet package.
  • Added Scheduler usage, API, and localization documentation, with Custom Controls entries in the generated help and llms.txt indexes.
  • Added a Scheduler Calendar view with week numbers, month navigation, resource-kind filtering, and a scrollable daily list with wrapped appointment text.
  • Added a resource-kind selector to the Scheduler Gallery demo and translated the new calendar labels in all twelve languages.
  • Added shared system-contrast and reduced-motion preferences, application overrides, and custom contrast application support.
  • Added automation providers and keyboard actions for rating, progress, color controls, breadcrumbs, slide confirmation, sidebar favorites, and Kanban selection.
  • Added a vertical resize grip with keyboard support to DaisyTextArea, and functional pinned table headers, footers, and edge columns.

Fixed

  • Fixed Kanban bulk date editing, saved tag selections, stale board/user loads, filter synchronization, keyboard navigation, and task date flags.
  • Fixed NumberFlow digit editing for decimal places, cultures, signs, leading zeros, percentages, scaling, bounds, and wrapping.
  • Fixed carousel content ownership and slide transitions, read-only numeric editing, repeated copy feedback, color editor synchronization, and date timeline navigation.
  • Fixed contribution graph year coverage, clock notifications, theme initialization, and programmatic theme selection.
  • Fixed timer, event, animation, and request lifetimes across detach, reattach, cancellation, and template changes.
  • Fixed stale glass captures and connected card glass settings to the shared material implementation.
  • Fixed input accessibility metadata, localized password/OTP actions, Kanban dialog focus, editor color choices, and subtask renaming.
  • Fixed forecast unit and precipitation labels, shared table column widths, and animated text image fills.
  • Corrected API and design-token documentation. Documentation generation now merges partial APIs, includes Kanban/helpers/guides, and resolves local links and fragments consistently.

📋 What's Changed

Breaking Changes

  • Global size reaches every control: FlowerySizeManager now tracks every loaded control that declares a StyledProperty<DaisySize> named SizeProperty and supplies the current tier to it. Previously only a handful of controls subscribed. Controls that were sized by the one-shot visual-tree walk, or not at all, now follow ApplySize() as well. A Size set in XAML, code, a style or a binding is never overwritten; use IgnoreGlobalSize to opt a subtree out.
  • FlowerySizeManager.CurrentSize defaults to Medium (was Small) so that applications which never call ApplySize() keep the class defaults. Reset() resets to Medium. Applications that relied on the implicit Small default must call ApplySize(DaisySize.Small) on startup.
  • Visual-tree propagation no longer creates local values: the walk uses SetCurrentValue and skips controls with a base value. Code that relied on IsSet(SizeProperty) being true after propagation must use GetBaseValue instead. Plain CLR Size properties without a StyledProperty are no longer propagated.
  • One font-size ladder: the DaisySize*FontSize tokens are now 10/12/14/18/20 (were 8/10/12/14/16) and mirror FlowerySizeManager.GetFontSizeForTier. DaisyKbd*FontSize, DaisyMenu*FontSize and DaisyBadge*FontSize use the same values; badge heights grew to 16/20/24/28/32. Every control that uses these tokens renders larger text at the same tier. Override the tokens in Application.Resources to restore the previous values.
  • DaisyControlLifecycle handles themes only: the constructor parameters getSize, setSize and subscribeSizeChanges were removed. Update custom controls that used the helper for size changes; global size is supplied by the manager.
  • DaisyGlobalSizeSubscription was removed. Its behaviour is now part of FlowerySizeManager.
  • Dimmed text uses brushes instead of Opacity: DaisyStat titles and descriptions, disabled DaisyMenu items, breadcrumb separators and last items, and the labels, hints, helper texts, counters and watermarks of DaisyInput, DaisyTextArea and DaisyPasswordBox are colored with DaisyBaseContentMutedBrush, DaisyBaseContentSubtleBrush and DaisyBaseContentDisabledBrush. DaisyBreadcrumbs.SeparatorOpacity now defaults to 1. Styles that overrode the previous Opacity setters need to set the new brushes instead.
  • Soft buttons changed their look: every variant now draws a tinted surface and a translucent border from DaisyButton<Variant>SoftBrush, SoftBorderBrush and SoftHoverBrush; the Primary soft brush tints with the primary color instead of DaisyBase200. Palettes that override DaisyButtonPrimarySoftBrush keep working; add the new brushes to customize the other variants.
  • Menu titles are styled differently: Classes="menu-title" renders in the primary brush, bold, with a bottom divider, at the secondary font size of the menu's Size, instead of a 40% opaque 12 px label.

Added

  • DaisyAccordion and DaisyAccordionItem got a Size property with DaisyAccordion*Padding and DaisyAccordion*HeaderMinHeight tokens; the accordion forwards its size to items that have no explicit Size.
  • DaisyStat got Size, ValueFontSize and LabelFontSize with DaisyStat*ValueFontSize tokens; the template binds its text to these properties so styles can override them.
  • DaisyBreadcrumbs got Size and SeparatorBrush; separators and icons follow the control font size.
  • DaisyBadge got an ExtraLarge size with DaisyBadgeExtraLarge* tokens.
  • DaisyButton.EffectiveIconMargin places the icon-to-text gap on the icon side that faces the content.
  • Muted text brushes are documented in THEMING.md; FlowerySizeManager.md describes the registry, DesignTokens.md lists the new token values.

Changed

  • DaisyInput takes its text and label sizes from the Primary and Secondary tiers of FlowerySizeManager.GetFontSizeForTier instead of private values.
  • RefreshAllSizes() walks every open top-level window (desktop lifetime windows, single-view main view and MainWindow) instead of MainWindow.Content only; setting MainWindow is optional.
  • The Gallery no longer applies the global size itself; its sidebar width follows the size tier via FlowerySizeManager.GetSidebarWidth.

Fixed

  • An explicit Size on DaisyCard, DaisyPagination and DaisyButtonGroup survived start-up but was overwritten by the first global tier change.
  • The global size could get stuck after the first ApplySize() because propagated values counted as explicit.
  • Buttons with a unified icon and text sat above the vertical center because the content grid applied its row spacing to the unused second row.
  • The Gallery overwrote sizes set explicitly in example XAML, such as the ExtraSmall badge.
  • DaisyNumberFlow digits were invisible inside the neutral digit boxes in themes with a dark neutral and dark base content color; the new DigitForeground property uses the neutral content brush while ShowDigitBoxes is on.
  • DaisyMenu.md explains that item content with its own Foreground does not follow the selection color.

📋 What's Changed

Breaking Changes

  • Smaller radio, checkbox, and toggle indicators: DaisyRadio, DaisyCheckBox, and DaisyToggle now use smaller dimensions across all size tiers. Existing layouts that depend on the previous dimensions may break or need style adjustments.
  • Migration: Review fixed dimensions, spacing, label alignment, and existing style overrides. Adjust Size or override the relevant indicator tokens/styles where your application requires specific dimensions. Setting the same Size as before does not preserve the old dimensions.
  • Theme color corrections: Multiple themes now use adjusted foreground and border colors to improve readability. These changes affect the appearance of buttons, text, icons, and borders. Review custom color overrides and applications that depend on the previous palette values.

Added

  • Added DaisyThemeManager.ExcludedThemes, HideTheme, ShowTheme, and IsThemeVisible for startup and runtime visibility control. Both theme dropdowns refresh automatically; hidden themes remain available for direct application.
  • Added PreferredThemes for multiple default preferred entries and AddTheme(originalName, displayName, preferred) on the manager and both dropdowns. Standard and product themes can be mixed without replacing the existing lists.
  • Theme entries support display aliases and multiple preferred entries. Preferred entries appear first, with each group sorted by display text. Selection still uses the original theme name.
  • Local dropdown overrides take precedence over global settings for the same original name. RemoveThemeOverride restores the inherited entry without applying a theme or unregistering it.
  • Added a non-selectable separator between preferred and normal entries. Clicking it does not change selection or close the popup; keyboard navigation is unchanged.
  • Added a mixed-theme gallery example and documentation for global configuration, local overrides, runtime changes, and resetting the lists.
  • Added the manual iOS Gallery Simulator workflow to build the ARM64 simulator app on macOS and capture selected gallery sections in Light and Dark themes. Workflow artifacts include screenshots, the simulator app, and diagnostic logs.

Changed

  • Checkboxes, radio buttons, and toggles use compact indicators and size-tier label fonts. Their global size is a fallback below application styles, bindings, and local values; opt-out branches remain independent.
  • Selection-control labels and indicators scale together from the current size-tier resources. Font scaling no longer writes a fixed local FontSize.
  • Both theme dropdowns use a shared resolver for additions, exclusions, ordering, previews, and group separators. Bound item collections remain live during filtering, collection updates, and source replacement; collection subscriptions follow attachment and detachment.

Fixed

  • Radio buttons and toggles now have explicit ExtraLarge styling instead of falling back to Medium, so Large is no longer bigger than ExtraLarge.
  • Toggle knob positions follow the current track bounds instead of fixed offsets.
  • Checkbox, radio, and toggle label rows provide a continuous click target around their compact indicators.
  • DaisyThemeController checkbox mode follows the global or explicit size and scaling, using the compact checkbox tokens with a larger click area.
  • Black-theme Primary, Secondary, and Accent text uses the readable Default foreground in Outline, Dash, and Soft buttons and in DaisyIconText. Link buttons also use the corrected foreground; filled-button colors remain unchanged.
  • Coffee-theme Secondary and Accent foregrounds use lighter teal and blue shades in Outline, Dash, and Soft buttons and in DaisyIconText.
  • Cupcake-theme Primary, Secondary, and Accent foregrounds use darker turquoise, rose, and burnt-orange shades in Outline, Dash, and Soft buttons and in DaisyIconText. Primary Link text follows the same adjustment.
  • Dark-theme Primary foreground uses a lighter violet in Outline, Dash, Soft, and Link buttons and in DaisyIconText.
  • Lemonade-theme Accent foreground uses a darker mustard shade in Outline, Dash, and Soft buttons and in DaisyIconText.
  • Luxury-theme Secondary and Accent foregrounds use lighter blue and mauve shades in Outline, Dash, and Soft buttons and in DaisyIconText.
  • Pastel-theme Primary and Secondary foregrounds use darker muted purple and pink shades in Outline, Dash, and Soft buttons and in DaisyIconText. Primary Link text follows the same adjustment.
  • Retro-theme Primary and Secondary foregrounds use darker red and green shades in Outline, Dash, and Soft buttons and in DaisyIconText. Primary Link text follows the same adjustment.
  • Smooth-theme Base300 uses a lighter grey so dropdown borders, separators, and other elements using this resource are visible against its near-black backgrounds.
  • Wireframe-theme Primary, Secondary, and Accent foregrounds use dark grey in Outline, Dash, and Soft buttons and in DaisyIconText. Primary Link text follows the same adjustment.

📋 What's Changed

Added

  • DaisyThemeManager.TryCreatePalette and GetPaletteFactory expose the factory passed to RegisterTheme.
  • DaisyThemeManager.AvailableThemesChanged fires when RegisterTheme adds a new theme name. Built-in themes raise it only when NotifyForInternalThemesChanged is true (default false).
  • Added a runtime test that registers a Corporate copy with Base200/Base100 set to #F0F0F0.
  • The test asserts AvailableThemesChanged fires and the dropdown swatch shows the new color.

Fixed

  • DaisyThemeDropdown preview swatches now use the registered palette factory instead of a built-in AXAML URI, so custom themes show the correct colors.
  • Themes registered after the first dropdown is created now appear in existing dropdowns.

📋 What's Changed

This release completes the Kanban review and moves assignee data ownership to host applications.

Added

  • Added FlowKanbanAssignee, IFlowKanbanAssigneeAdapter, and FlowKanbanAssigneeAdapter for direct data, asynchronous callbacks, and single-ID resolution.
  • Added AssigneeAdapterFailed reports for assignee load and resolution errors.
  • Added the complete Kanban feature overview with plain guidance for the assignee API.

Changed

  • Replaced the board-facing user-provider API with AssigneeAdapter. Host applications must supply assignee metadata and own external account integration.
  • Host applications now own external identity, authentication, authorization, account mapping, and token storage.
  • Preserved case-sensitive assignee IDs exactly in filters, task editing, resolution, and persisted board data.
  • Kept avatars and roles as display metadata. Roles do not grant authorization in FlowKanban.
  • Consolidated repeated column surfaces and shared layout behavior across standard, compact, and swimlane templates.

Fixed

  • Prevented older assignee loads and delayed layout work from replacing newer state after refresh, adapter replacement, or control unload.
  • Reported adapter exceptions without removing saved assignments or current display metadata.
  • Returned storage errors for board settings, local users, identity links, and token operations. Failed mutations now restore their previous state.
  • Centered toolbar icons and aligned equal-sized buttons with the section, zoom, and archive controls.
  • Collapsed columns release their content area, resize handles keep correct geometry, and dialog scrollbars do not cover controls.
  • Removed the extra Scheduling divider and made date fields follow the Windows regional order.
  • Made DaisyCollapse headers toggle on pointer press so the release interval no longer affects expansion.
  • Improved semantic UI Automation patterns and values for Kanban controls and dialogs.

📋 What's Changed

Flowery.NET.Kanban is a reusable companion package for embedding complete task-board workflows in Avalonia applications. It combines the board UI, models, dialogs, persistence, localization, and accessibility semantics and integrates with the Flowery.NET theme and controls.

Kanban main features

  • Standard, compact, and swimlane layouts with adaptive sizing, zoom, and collapsible and resizable columns.
  • Rich task editing for priorities, assignees, tags, scheduling and due dates, progress, subtasks, blocked state, and archive history.
  • Task and column drag-and-drop and reordering, keyboard shortcuts, and optional undo/redo command history.
  • Search and advanced filters, column and swimlane WIP limits, multi-selection, bulk operations, board statistics, and automatic archiving.
  • Board home and management workflows for boards, columns, tasks, settings, users, archive, statistics, filtering, and keyboard help.
  • JSON import/export, pluggable board persistence, debounced autosave, and scoped board and per-user settings for desktop and browser hosts.
  • Localization for 12 languages and semantic UI Automation support for boards, columns, cards, tool buttons, and form controls.

Added

  • Added the Flowery.NET.Kanban companion package as a native Avalonia port of the complete Flowery.Uno.Kanban project.
  • Added a Gallery example and behavior coverage for Kanban defaults, filtering, selection, movement, WIP enforcement, persistence, layout, archive, drop-index behavior, and measured Uno/Avalonia control geometry.
  • Added UI Automation coverage for composite core inputs, Number Flow, icon-only navigation/value actions, Kanban board landmarks, cards, columns, tool buttons, and form inputs.

Changed

  • Raised every project to .NET 10 and the repository/package version to 3.0.0.
  • Added the Kanban project to the solution, Gallery hosts, tests, and documented build entry points.
  • Disabled Avalonia build telemetry in the local build scripts via the official AVALONIA_TELEMETRY_OPTOUT environment variable.

Refactored

  • Consolidated repeated Kanban control, dialog, resource, visual-tree, dispatcher, layout, and property patterns into shared helpers and reused Flowery.NET controls and services where applicable.
  • Centralized scoped state-storage key composition in the core library for reuse by Kanban board and per-user settings persistence.
  • Centralized propagation of UI Automation name, help text, label, required state, and caller-provided IDs from composite controls to their focusable children.

Fixed

  • Matched Uno button heights, fonts, padding, icon metrics, and square/circle sizing in the shared core theme; runtime layout tests now measure natural text-button widths, equal Kanban tool-button sides, alignment, and icon centering.
  • Registered Kanban localization resources when the assembly loads and made unresolved application localization keys fall back to registered library resources, preventing raw Kanban_* keys in the Gallery.
  • Prevented board filtering from looking up template parts through a detached parent name scope while item containers are being cleared.
  • Added the missing localized Common_* resources used by Kanban actions so automation names and visible labels no longer expose raw keys such as Common_Delete.
  • Pinned workflow action references to immutable commit SHAs, reduced workflow token permissions, and added weekly Dependabot coverage for GitHub Actions.
  • Prevented release workflow command injection by validating supported inputs and passing user-provided values through environment variables instead of interpolating them into shell scripts.
  • Restricted Python maintenance tools to repository paths and replaced incomplete HTML-comment regular expressions with multi-line-aware scanners.

📋 What's Changed

Added

  • FlowerySizeManager: Added GetControlHeight(DaisySize) returning the standard single-line control height per Daisy size (24/28/32/34/36 px) as the code-side counterpart of the DaisySize*Height tokens, as a basis for runtime-dynamic control heights.

Changed

  • DaisySelect: Reduced the right padding of all three size variants (Medium/Small/ExtraSmall) from 30/26/22 to a uniform 8 px to remove dead space right of the text.

Fixed

  • DaisyCheckBox: The checkbox box now centers vertically within its row instead of sticking to the top.
  • DaisyTable: Star-sized columns no longer produce Infinity sizes when measured with infinite available width (e.g. inside a ScrollViewer with an Auto horizontal scrollbar), which previously invalidated the measure pass.
  • Flowery.Capture.NET: Replaced the obsolete Bitmap.Save(Stream) overload in FallbackScreenCapture with Save(Stream, PngBitmapEncoderOptions.Default), resolving the CS0618 build warning without changing the PNG output.
