Who knows this code — 3 people across 5 areas
Ownership is git history over each area's own files, weighted towards recent work (120-day half-life). Merge commits and bots are dropped, and you are dropped from your own PR. A name with no All 7 dependent symbols, grouped by areaTool Invocation — 3 symbols in 1 file
Workspace Grep — 2 symbols in 2 files
CLI Entry Point — 1 symbol in 1 file
Grep CLI — 1 symbol in 1 file
Test signal per changed area — 1 ✓Reached = a node under a test path has a resolved edge into the changed symbol. It undercounts anything called indirectly — through a CLI, a spawned process or a dynamic import — so read a low ratio as “look here”, never as a coverage gate.
4 test suites also reference this code5 symbols, kept out of the diagram and the table so they cannot crowd out the areas a reviewer has to look at.

grepGraphscanned every graph node once per indexed file while assigning hits to symbols. This builds a symbol-span index by path once per query and reuses each file's bucket, preserving existing grouping with linear graph lookup.Validation:
node --import tsx --test test/search-grep.test.ts(14 passed),node_modules/.bin/tsc -p tsconfig.json --noEmit, andgit diff origin/main...HEAD --checkpassed. Ubuntu CI and Node 24 checks pass. Windows CI has one unrelated failure in unchangedtest/skills-prompt-attacks.test.ts:197(4,000 passed, 98 skipped); the branch changes only the grep implementation and its test. The local full suite also could not build three native grammar checks becausemakeis unavailable and had two unrelated baseline assertion failures.Closes #702.
