Summary
Brings in changes from benepass/unit-python-sdk#3 / upstream PR #306 to run CI with our environment variables.

The original PR (#306) was opened from a fork and cannot access our repo secrets, so CI cannot run there. This branch contains the identical changes so CI runs with the correct env vars.
