Whenever I type ~"uni," the ViV uninstaller comes up as the best match. "Uni" is a pretty universal (pun intended) first couple of characters for a lot of files. Anything university-related, for example.
I find it difficult to justify the presence of such shortcut:
- Image viewers are software that you rarely uninstall and typically keep until the very end of your OS's cycle.
- I can find the uninstaller in
C:\Program Files\voidImageViewer if I ever need it.
- If the shortcut is meant to be a quick way to access it without directory browsing, the uninstaller is labeled only as "Uninstaller," so the user won't even know it's tied to ViV:
- There's a perfectly functional app remover in Settings. If I ever want to quickly and easily remove ViV, I can use it. Some people even use third-party tools like Revo.
