feat(shared-data): cluster review pros and cons into product points - #1560
The database-free part of P5 (design #1531 section 5.1 and 5.3, D9): pure rules that turn a product's review pro and con lines into product points. No reads or writes to the P2 tables; the importer job that reads rate.review_points and writes rate.product_points lands after P2 is applied.
What it adds
packages/shared-data/src/rules/product-points.ts, exported from @repo/shared-data/rules:
Normalise:pointTokens keeps diacritics ("sạc" is not "sắc"), drops filler words ("khá", "rất", "hơi"...), and joins a negation to the next word ("không_trâu").
Criterion:assignPointCriterion keeps a line's own key when the category has it, else picks by keyword per category; no match goes to the general bucket. A plain keyword matches only a line typed without diacritics, and keywords whose plain form is a common word ("đơ"/"đo" = "do", "chờ" = "cho", "êm" = "em", "cam") are left out.
Cluster: same criterion and kind, at least 60% shared words (Dice), greedy against each cluster's first line, so chains do not merge different points. A line that negates a word the other states never joins.
Count: each writer once, with their strongest line; weight capped at 3 and halved every 12 months (decayedWeight). Gated reviews (weight 0), dodging cons, lines outside 5..150 characters, lines with no words, writer or date are left out.
Show (D9): two distinct writers and a weight sum of 1.5, or one expert; hidden after 18 silent months; up to 3 per criterion and 5 per side in the summary (each side has its own places, so a passing con is always kept). The label is the form most writers used, in the first writer's words (method code; AI rewording is later).
review-form.ts now exports its existing hasContent.
Tests
testProductPoints in packages/shared-data/src/__tests__/shared-data.test.ts, invented lines only:
D9 at 1.4 / 1.5 / 1.4952, one expert, the hostile writer over two reviews (no con shown), gated and malformed lines;
decay and the 17 / 19 month cut-off;
limits per criterion and summary, the always-kept con, and order independence.
pnpm --filter @repo/shared-data lint and test pass locally (12/12).
Review
A fresh-context review found six issues (plain keyword false positives, sub-keyword double counts, negation within one kind, labels the table would refuse, missing writer/date/infinite weight, D9 on the rounded sum); all are fixed in the second commit with tests.
This PR introduces a new product-points module that aggregates, clusters, and filters product pros and cons from review data using linguistic normalization, keyword matching, and time-decayed trust weights. It includes comprehensive unit tests to verify the clustering logic, visibility thresholds (D9), and edge cases for Vietnamese text processing.

Summary by CodeRabbit
New Features
Added product-point summaries that group review pros and cons by criterion, with support based on reviewer agreement and expert input.
Summaries account for how recently feedback was written and limit the number of points shown.
Bug Fixes
Improved filtering so invalid, empty, or evasive feedback does not contribute to product-point summaries.
Tests
Added coverage for point grouping, support and visibility thresholds, freshness, and result ordering.
Pure rules for #1546 (design #1531 section 5.1, D9), with no database
access: normalise lines (diacritics kept, filler words dropped, negations joined
to the next word), assign a criterion by keyword, cluster at 60% shared words,
count each writer once by capped trust weight halved every 12 months, and show a
point with two writers and a weight sum of 1.5 or one expert. Up to three per
criterion and five per side in the summary; points silent for 18 months hide.

- Keywords match without diacritics only on a line typed without any, and
words whose plain form is common ("đơ", "đo", "chờ", "êm", "cầm", "cam",
"mắc") are dropped, so "Pin tụt nhanh do cập nhật" stays battery.
- A keyword inside a longer match ("màn" in "màn hình") counts once.
- A line that negates a word the other states never joins its cluster.
- Lines outside 5..150 characters, with no words, no writer, no date or a
non-finite weight are not counted.
- D9 reads the exact support, not the two-decimal value.

The module defines product-point data types and thresholds. It tokenizes text, measures word overlap, and assigns criteria from valid keys or keyword matches. Tests cover tokenization, overlap, and criterion assignment.
Line validation and clustering packages/shared-data/src/rules/product-points.ts, packages/shared-data/src/rules/review-form.ts, packages/shared-data/src/__tests__/shared-data.test.ts
The module filters invalid lines, orders valid lines, and clusters them by criterion, kind, and overlap. hasContent is now exported. Tests cover clustering and line filtering.
Support, visibility, and output packages/shared-data/src/rules/product-points.ts, packages/shared-data/src/rules/index.ts, packages/shared-data/src/__tests__/shared-data.test.ts
The module calculates writer support and freshness, ranks clusters, and builds capped criterion and summary views. The rules entry point re-exports the module. Tests cover thresholds, freshness, output limits, and order-independent results.
DOS/Rate#1091: This PR adds the product-points module to the rules barrel export created by PR #1091.
Suggested labels:area:shared
Merge Risk: Low · up to 70cd6
The new rules can combine different complaints or overstate freshness for future-dated reviews. No production importer uses them yet, so merging carries bounded risk; correct these cases before connecting the rules to displayed product points.

Do not cap or split one product's lines across aggregateProductPoints calls.
clusterLines compares each line with the leader of every existing cluster (product-points.ts:420-444). When most lines start new clusters, the work grows with the square of the line count. aggregateProductPoints accepts any number of lines and runs synchronously.
A cap or a split changes the results:
A cap drops lines and their support.
A split counts a writer's weight once per call in summarise. Each call also counts its own distinct reviews in reviewCount.
Clusters form per call. Lines that should join one cluster can end up in separate clusters. The visibility thresholds then apply to partial support.
If this cost becomes a problem, change clusterLines so it finds candidate clusters faster. Keep the first-cluster tie-break. The repository does not state an expected line count per product.

Add hông and hem to the negation set in pointTokens.
NEGATION in product-points.ts omits hông and hem, although the package's dodge list accepts both as negations. Without them, Sạc hông nhanh, nóng máy is tokenized as a plain word, so it shares 4 of 5 distinct words with Sạc nhanh, nóng máy (Dice overlap 0.89). contradicts() only blocks merges when a negation token is present, so the two opposite charging claims cluster together. Their writers then count toward one visible point. Adding both words maps hông nhanh to không_nhanh, and contradicts() keeps the lines apart.

Reject lines dated after the run clock before counting them.
countedLines rejects only invalid dates. A writtenAt later than now keeps full weight, and summarise uses it as lastSeen. A cluster with one such line stays visible until that future date is 18 months old. Reject or cap dates later than now in aggregateProductPoints, before summarise runs.

Stop clusters from merging on shared function words.
clusterLines counts shared words such as khi and dùng. sạc nóng khi dùng and sạc chậm khi dùng overlap at 0.75 and merge. The merged cluster then shows one label with two reviewers, although the two complaints are different. Compare content words only before merging, or exclude common function words from the overlap. Keep sạc nhanh and sạc rất nhanh merged.
