As per #6126 (comment) - I think time to ship this release.

A few final PRs I would like to get merged before shipping:

There are lots of other things I would have liked to ship in 0.30, but at the end of the day a lot of the time since 0.29.0 has been spent making steady improvements to a few themes:

  • fixes to experimental-inspect
  • resolving issues with 0.29.0's switch to raw-dylib linking
  • lots of FFI fixes (in tandem a bit with PyPy 8.0 / 3.12 release)
  • upcoming no_std support

Fellow maintainers - please ping if there's anything which I've missed off the list that you'd like to see landed in 0.30 (with hopefully relatively little remaining work).

As Python 3.15.0 just released, I've added that to the list of things to confirm as part of the release here.

Assuming CI is green I will probably put this live in an hour or two. We can ship the PyPy 3.12 support in a patch release.
