Selecting Kotlin, Scala or F# now keeps all five staple concept routes within that language. Each port has complete examples for captured hierarchies, stale handles, filtering, missing and ambiguous matches, related objects, command/control ownership, layouts and repeated setup.

The pages include imports, project files, a private-server launcher, pinned library checkout, run commands and expected output. The programs use real server objects and keep code lines within 100 columns. Reference links point to native APIs and the parent types they use.

Verification:

  • All 54 program executions pass across tmux 3.2a and 3.7c, using the literal displayed files and commands from fresh directories.
  • CI checks those verified file hashes and recipes. The example runner checks output after every command and stops on the first mismatch; a negative probe proves that exit code 0 cannot hide missing output.
  • Product-navigation checks run separately for each port, preserving all page assertions within the existing timeout. The slowest local case takes 475 ms.
  • The outer suite passes in 51.80 seconds. Browser checks pass for all 15 pages, local sidebar navigation, mobile menu closing, code-block spacing and both themes.

Native execution is a separate gate from routine site CI; run scripts/check-example-prose.py --example concept --port fsharp --page concepts/queries --output-dir <new-directory> with the documented tools installed.

what:
- Give each port its own hierarchy, query, command/control and layout
concepts, with local navigation and links to its native API.
- Include imports, project files, private-server launchers, commands,
expected output and cleanup for every complete program.
- Record exact verified bytes and check each command's expected output.
- Enforce one owned route per staple concept and remove guide aliases
that would shadow the new concept pages.

why:
- Selecting a port should keep readers in that language, with enough
examples to handle missing matches, snapshots, ownership and reuse.
- Copying a displayed program should not require hidden test helpers.

verification:
- All 54 program executions pass across tmux 3.2a and 3.7c using the
displayed setup and pinned JVM/.NET source revisions.
- The actual example checker runs the three F# query programs; its
negative probe stops on missing output even when the command exits 0.
- The outer suite passes in 54.07 seconds. Browser checks cover all
15 pages, local sidebar links, mobile menu closing and code spacing.
what:
- Include the reviewed native reference fixes in the concepts branch.
- Retain standalone alias signatures and corrected Kotlin link counts.

why:
- Concept links and publication checks share the API reference renderer.

tony changed the base branch from feat-language-reference to main October 1, 2026 10:36
why: The assembled navigation audit parses every product page in one
five-second test. Extra rendering work in the examples suite exposed
a CI timeout even though the assertions found no navigation defect.

what:
- Run the same navigation and availability assertions once per port
- Preserve every supported version and product page in the audit
- Keep the existing timeout instead of increasing the test budget
