Change and mathematical scope

Complete the original H25 automatic-retention issuer and hook source contract. A distinct GPT-6.1-sol Max whole-source review accepts the complete original R01–R11 conjunction for the exact v2 subject, SHA256 5c006e6eccb4bb7605e75ce96fc6370d6e4a9d45a7e43068c174208259b662bb: 46 source pins, seven profiles and 17 control pins. The connected guardian/C2/fork-only borrower/issuer/writer-seal/archive/oracle/readback/release source and its evidence are inspectable in one new directory, research/h25-s03-retention-completion-source/.

The automatic-retention implementation satisfies the accepted source contract. The separate source-adoption result was already delivered in PR #6715 and is not claimed again here. Source acceptance is distinct from full original execution, installed-native/current-kernel/grant qualification, resource fit, funding/settlement, scientific performance and κ. Those later gates remain open.

The exact whole-source decision completed at 2026-11-05T12:24:44.459671Z, 29.459671 seconds after the fixed 12:24:15 review checkpoint. This is disclosed without backdating or on-time gate credit. The user's continuous completion authority remained separate from that phase checkpoint.

Task and overlap

Original source investigation: PR #6321. Frozen H25 benchmark: PR #6029. Immediate predecessor: PR #6732.

Direct user assignment: complete the automatic-retention source contract, obtain independent verification and publish the scoped result upstream. Scope is unchanged: complete the original source conjunction. The inert archive format is a publication refinement that preserves absolute source locators and explicit acquisition limits instead of inventing a portable production loader or runtime grant. No task picker was run.

Canonical base 7c49fe32c55de02c2c873655c804b16e4c3fef0a, tree e6898c8ba7a27b71587c32ba3f639259ceeeed91. The prepublication refresh at 12:21:55 UTC retained that base and the seven implicated heads; its bounded recent all-author PR delta returned zero, without a novelty claim. UPSTREAM-PINS.json preserves the exact query and observed scope.

Preserve #6317 archive/oracle 336015471e4f1bb95998f293aa76823fe11e33d5; #6339 cleanup/primary 608ad23adc6c01264c8195daf7f18e29c17464a7; #6346 abff67b31fa781e950c82d95eccb6f168950943c; #6588 preparation ff7df8391c3bb3f5518ce43682ba4c1e41380e3e; #6715 source adoption dc34598c22e2ef43ae7e11fc1d8c14de3915cf89; and #6732 finite native-source subject dd058d2990d3a98692553018387ec19eaf474b42. #6709, 24417a34746985dd110d70a42b2b863b96963c12, retains its separate financial-meter scope; metadata-only G is incompatible with qualifying the present construction. Concrete reuse/adaptation reasons and predecessor failures remain in the source/review records.

The closed failed predecessor assessment, correction, close record and superseded v1 manifest are retained. The successor repairs authenticated C2 projection, enclosing resource limits, actual capture mode and raw caught-error custody, together with later finite findings; the complete accepted conjunction supplies credit, rather than a helper or PR.

Validation

The parent completed 17 guarded command attempts in the declared scope; actual argv, environment, limits, receipts, stdout/stderr and timing are included separately from source review:

  • Current R08 retention source under declared fake ports: 39 controls in normal and 39 in optimized mode, independently accepted for the exact current error/native-I/O helpers.
  • Python boundaries in each mode: 34 entry + 4 constructor + 8 resource + 21 connected = 67. The first three use actual whole source modules with inert ports. The 21 connected checks use explicit AST-extracted pure definitions and earn that narrower scope.
  • Actual native compilation and ordinary-file C fixture execution: syntax check and two builds succeeded; predecessor 17 checks / four expected actual failures / exit 1; repaired 23 checks / zero failures / exit 0. Guardian main was renamed and never called. This exercised bounded file/fstat/chmod/read/fsync/known-close boundaries and literal address-space helpers, not the installed guardian/current-kernel/cgroup/grant/native workload. Compiler diagnostics are retained.
  • Earlier B124 31 controls per mode remain historical evidence and explicitly do not qualify the current helpers.

The whole-source assessment binds those exact results and all 70 current source/profile/control pins. AI source/result review is distinct from human or proof-kernel verification. No complete original caller/science/archive run or full original C01–C17 union is claimed. The retained pre-adjudication validation summary still contains its historical pending/zero-credit fields; the final whole review, canonical adoption records and ACCEPTANCE-STATUS.json explicitly supersede them.

Executable source is inert .py.txt/.c.txt/.h.txt; JSON profiles remain exact metadata. Original 0444 source mode is recorded separately from archival Git 100644. The three small external H source bodies and selected source-adoption manifest are supplied with exact origin/byte/hash mapping. Prior public leaf URLs remain null where unestablished. Inherited proof/design references are pinned as metadata; the huge predecessor archive and protected runtime histories are not duplicated or decoded.

python3 -I -S -B INTEGRITY.py checks archival ordinary-file inventory and bytes only, importing no archived source. No executable VERIFY.json hook or portable runtime replay is registered. MANIFEST.json excludes itself; the external publication allowlist binds it and the raw Git blob identities. Hosted checks will be read for the actual submitted head, with pending/failed/skipped states reported as observed; skipped replay earns no candidate execution credit.

Ledger 034 records 670.890533479/2400 seconds, including 285 new policy seconds for the declared 17 attempts. Complete physical/outside-operation/preparation/review/metadata/publication/final-tail costs remain OPEN_NOT_ZERO. No new budget, goal-service resume, automation or merge authority is created.

Chris R / Clear1nsight; original H25 source/archive/independent-oracle/review owners; predecessor and parallel authors, including unpaidmoon/Cursor Grok for #6339 and the #6321/#6029 lineage; and original third-party authors. Substantial ChatGPT Pro/OpenAI Codex assistance, with distinct GPT-6.1-sol Max source/result review. New material is Apache-2.0; copied notices and external source-specific rights remain intact. Referenced GNU time/gnulib/GNU libc/CPython sources are not relicensed by this archive.

Open next questions

The package README names the next genuine runtime gates. First compare one intended installed executable/library/loader/current-kernel/delegation tuple with the accepted source/profile requirements, identify the first missing authentic input, and obtain its independent qualification before any target operation. This matters because source semantics do not issue current ownership or a one-use grant. Full concurrent resource fit, original-control/caller/archive execution, funding and settlement remain separately blocked by their genuine authority/evidence requirements. No further helper is needed to re-complete the accepted automatic-retention source contract, and this delivery starts no new scientific round.

Archive the exact independently accepted S03.07 source tuple, original failure evidence, changed-source controls and readbacks. Preserve installed-native/current/fit/full-caller/financial qualification as separate open gates and disclose fixed checkpoint timing and unknown complete physical costs.

AI assistance: OpenAI Codex and ChatGPT Pro; distinct GPT-6.1-sol Max source and result reviews.

Exact-head delivery and handoff complete

Chrome submitted this draft at head 0f2a86fa9ef0daf760b77c662a5b762e17848598, tree 5b8672c8274486f70f5ace6e282ddfb338140458, sole parent 7c49fe32c55de02c2c873655c804b16e4c3fef0a. All 183 added files / 3,122,544 bytes match the reviewed blobs and Git modes; the actual PR changed-file set, title/body, draft/open/unmerged state and disabled maintainer edits were read back. No predecessor files were deleted or modified.

Hosted run 42030899408, attempt 1, completed SUCCESS at this exact head: plan job 127256784441 SUCCESS; replay job 127258827782 SKIPPED. This is archival planning, not archived candidate execution. No rerun or CI-only commit.

The canonical handoff and short hub pointer are posted and read back. The public archive retains the exact source acceptance, 39 retention and 67 boundary checks per Python mode, native 23 ordinary-file/pure checks, failed predecessor and historical evidence, late checkpoints, source dependencies and attribution.

Installed/current native and delegation, full resource fit, genuine ownership/funding/grants, original full controls/caller/archive execution, settlement and performance remain later open gates. Recorded guarded policy 670.890533479/2400 seconds; complete physical, publication and final metadata costs remain OPEN_NOT_ZERO. No merge, new budget, recurring schedule or goal-service status change.

Original H25 benchmark: PR #6029. Original source investigation: PR #6321.
